Tom Scott
Tom’s passion for architecture began in childhood, sparked by a love of Lego and sketching buildings. This interest led him to study architecture in North London in 2004. Since then, he has worked in boutique chartered practices, refining his expertise in designing high-end residential homes, small-scale developments, sensitive heritage site projects, and the conversion and refurbishment of listed buildings.
Tom is dedicated to crafting finely detailed buildings, collaborating closely with clients and trusted consultants. His design approach emphasises the interplay of space, light, and shadows, while maintaining a deep respect for the honest use of materials. He also enjoys the hands-on aspect of architecture, finding joy in the tactile experience of well designed buildings, believing that any materials or components interacted with by building users requires careful thought and consideration.
Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending time with his young family, learning Portuguese, exploring the natural world, cycling, collecting Lego, and expanding his vinyl record collection.
