Gemma Paterson

With a passion for breathing new life into historic buildings, Gemma started her career working on some of Scotland’s most iconic landmarks, including Hopetoun House and St Giles Cathedral, after graduating from Edinburgh University in 2006.

At Graham Handley Architects, she enjoys bringing creative solutions to a range of projects, from high-end residential developments to heritage restorations. Gemma enjoys the diversity of projects, particularly enjoying the opportunity to see the process through from the initial concept to completion.

Outside of work, Gemma enjoys acrylic painting, running, and spending time with her family - and one day, she hopes to make her dream of driving a rally car a reality!
